About Kim

Classically trained in Pietrasanta, Italy, and at the Indonesian Art Institute in Yogyakarta, Kim Mosley brings timeless sculptural traditions into a modern dialogue. Her work—both sculpture and painting—reveals the figurative essence within natural materials, balancing the raw and the refined. Each piece reflects a harmony between strength and subtlety, material and spirit.

Influenced by the precision of European technique and the expressive fluidity of Asian aesthetics, Kim’s creative process is guided by intuition and deep respect for form. The elemental rhythm of Hawai‘i—its wind, water, and volcanic stone—anchors her artistic voice, infusing her work with serenity and vitality.

In addition to her studio practice, Kim is an art restoration specialist and instructor, sharing her craft through private lessons and public demonstrations. She is currently a featured artist at Wailea Contemporary in Wailea Village and participates weekly in the Evening Artists Showcase at the Four Seasons Resort Maui.

From her Kihei studio, Kim continues to explore how traditional craftsmanship, natural form, and evolving technology intersect—inviting viewers to experience the balance between permanence and transformation.
